About
Founded in 2014, by Michael Johnson, Coppersmith Electric Inc. is an Electrical, Solar and HVAC business based in Newbury MA. The company focuses on providing electrical services for the community where he and his family reside—the coastal towns along Ipswich Bay and Cape Ann, Massachusetts.
Coppersmith Electric has had the opportunity to maintain a working relationship with some of the best design-build contractors in our area and enjoys the challenge of their detail orientated work. We provide all electrical installations for home and business from wiring large construction projects and renovations, to small additions and repairs.
One of the greatest joys in our work is earning the trust of homeowners who continue to call us back. It tells us that the care we bring, the process we follow, and the quality we deliver are making a lasting impression. We believe the first chance is earned by the promise of our brand, but the second call is earned by proof.
“Growing up in the trades allowed me to understand the importance of craftsmanship, along with the quality of character and the trust required to have the opportunity to work inside people's homes. The combination of my grandfather building homes, my father and brothers being self-employed tradesmen, and my mother being a school teacher helped shape my desire to build a business of service, with an opportunity to teach. I strive to teach our employees both the technical side of this valuable profession, and the quality of character needed to gain the trust of our customers. It has been a great joy to help develop young adults into highly qualified, career orientated professionals.
Aside from work, I enjoy being outside in the open space and taking the time to be grateful for the community and resources that surround us. We have wonderful farms and small business entrepreneurs supplying us with food and other goods, and a special community that supports open space and the preservation of localism. You can find me outside exploring the various areas of the Parker River and Ipswich River Watershed, fly fishing, training my field dogs, working in our garden, shopping at farmers’ markets and playing music with family and friends.”
