We provide electrical services for homes and businesses from wiring large construction projects and renovations, to minor repairs. As well as installing HVAC ductless mini-splits, generators and ground mount solar panels. Job Description:

Coppersmith Electric is currently seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is knowledgeable, possesses excellent customer service and communication skills, and is dedicated to quality workmanship. Must be able to work independently or in a team environment, including collaboration with other tradespeople, such as builders, general contractors and all other subcontractors. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform electrical work in various settings in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with local and national electrical codes. 

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. 

  • Read and interpret wiring schematics for mechanical systems. 

  • Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems

  • Repair and replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. 

  • Panelboard Wiring & Terminations

  • Rewiring of old homes

  • Service Upgrades

  • Installation of heating/cooling systems (mini-splits)

  • Work thoroughly and efficiently either independently or as a foreman

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson electrician

  • Proficient in electrical systems installation, maintenance and repair 

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify electrical issues efficiently

  • Understanding building science and efficiencies in order to advocate for the “all-electric home”

  • Understanding of frame carpentry for installation purposes

  • Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by company needs

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment specific to the trade

Candidate must have:

  • MA Journeyman’s Class B license in good standing (NH license is a plus)

  • Valid MA driver’s license & reliable transportation

  • Your own tools (we provide a company van, ladders, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $40-$50/hour based on experience

  • Four 10-hour shifts (Fridays off)
